I'm looking for a new Sennheiser cord myself; my HD 497 cord is cutting in and out (it's stupidly thin) so I want a sturdier replacement cord.
Does the cord disconnect from the headphones or something? If it's just a typical headphone cable that's soldered into the speakers, then you'd be crazy to pay that much for it.
The cord can be unplugged from the headphones.
what sort of connector is it?
