Xbox 360 Arcade bundle. I had gotten into the 6am Amazon lighting deal the other day where you got a $100 Amazon credit if you bought the $200 Arcade sku, but in the no more than 15 seconds it took for me to get checked out, I had gotten screwed out of the deal. Seems like a lot of people got wrongly screwed, however, because yesterday Amazon sent out an email to everybody who had cancelled their order (upon finding out that they hadn't been recognized as getting the lightning deal) that they could go back and order the unit now and get in on the promotion.
My current 360 is still holding up fine, but after two trips to MS and now that I'm out of warranty, I'd feel better having one of the new units that is supposedly more reliable. Essentially $100 for a 360 ain't bad, especially if I can maybe turn around and sell my current unit used. The last time I got my 360 back, it had been changed internally enough that it wasn't recognized as my machine anymore, and I was smart and held off on using the yearly console change for my purchases.
Plus, I'm actually kind of excited to have a 360 that has a white DVD tray instead of a stupid chrome one. (Yes, I get excited over silly things sometimes.)
Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga and Mass Effect for $8.49 each via target clearance and $10 off 2 360 games deal. Not sure if I'm going to keep either one yet, but Lego looks like something I can get behind.
IceWind Dale II for a buck at Half Price Books today. Also 2 more PC games which ran me $3 that I just listed on amazon for about $110 combined.
I was bored so I just registered a shitload of wii games at club nintendo and ordered the game and watch collection.
Should I mention I got all the pins from used games on the wall here?
I stole most of mine from several Blockbuster Video locations. Now I just use my cell camera to snap a shot of 'em wherever I am. I really wish they'd get some better stuff in stock. I've got so many points it's kind of retarded.Quote:
