Yeah! Heaven forbid they push back a game to hopefully release a better product! Fuck those guys.
on the other hand, BioWare, Bethesda, 2K, et al. are saints for allowing games to dev until "they're done" rather than attempt to whore a half-finished game out.
I think that covers the spectrum.

oh, it's because I drew the similarity to this being lame whereas it's excused by other devs/publishers and this one happens to be Nintendo. So it's in there. Really and truly. Although it's dumb one way or another to bemoan delays on a game, as long as it makes the game better for it.
Honestly though! I would have never pegged that Golden Sun would get another sequel, so waiting on a pleasant surprise is still a pleasant surprise.
It had a release date, it was slated for the begining of the year, and has been pushed back until June, I believe.
Hero: I agree with everything you've said so far, even if this game is crap, and that's hughly unlikely, I'm happy just knowing that they're willing to keep trying at it. My only fear is that it's nothing more than a clone of the first two, mechanics and all. I want to see a real evolution here.

i only played a little of the first one but the experience didn't really stick with me. i think i meant to play part 2 at some point but then i completely forgot about the series.
Enjoyed the first two, but I don't own a DS and never will. So pass. Nintendo has made it clear they don't cater to my demographic (gamer) anymore.
