Shaving Your Head

I just shaved my head for the first time a few weeks ago, and now I'm not sure if I want to grow hair again. It's so liberating not to have to worry about how your hair looks, especially when it's really straight like mine and prone to extreme cases of bed-hair. I have wanted to do it for a long time but I've been afraid of looking ugly without hair or having an oddly shaped head or something. Well now that it's winter time and everyone gets pale and ugly anyways, I decided on a whim to do it. It was weird to get used to the image of your own skull, but fortunately my head is pretty well-shaped. The oddest part was probably laying down for bed that night and feeling how cold the pillow was.

Who else shaves their head or feels the same way?

I've done it a few times. I grow my hair long until I get tired of it, then shave it off.
I don't use a razor though, just really fine clippers, and I don't maintain it.

It feels cool at first, then you get velcro head that makes it hard to put a shirt on, then you bump your head and appreciate the protection hair gives you.

I shaved my head while I was living in serbia, and I can tell you this, nothing repels gypsies like a shaved head. I guess they've still got skin heads over there.

I've done it 3 times, it's probably about time to do it a 4th. I like it super short, and fine clippers is a fine idea for the next time.

I've shaved my head with a razor multiple times. Not for years though. It's fun to rock your hat like Adebisi.

Razor about 20% of the time, clippers for most every other time. Does the job!

I've thought about it.

But I'm so hairy I'd look kind of silly.

I buzz it pretty frequently, but that's mostly due to the fact that I'm losing what hair I have to grow.

I clipper it short but not to the skin. Most comfortable haircut in the world.

I started shaving my head mostly out of boredom, when my hair was getting thinner and it was obvious that it was only a matter of time. Discovering that I really liked it was pretty convenient! I usually just use clippers with no guard, but when I do choose to use a razor:

Headblade! Looks ridiculous, works great.

I did it once during football 2-a-days back in High School. Found out I had a pointy head and never did it again. I'm going to look horrible when I go bald as an old man.
