Justice and the Penal System

Not really, once an inmate gets used to prison life, it's pretty calm, it just sorta becomes their life. They adapt. It's nothing like Lockup Raw. They play cards with friends, have relationships with guards, suck each others cocks. Not so torturous, honestly.

There's nothing higher than vengeance.

They would still walk out if given the opportunity. Prison is not Disneyland. I do think we could make prison a bit harsher depending on the crime committed.

The death penalty is an easy escape.

If that girl were killed within a few months, she would have lived a life without remorse or suffering for what she has done, and I'm confident that people like her can envision no greater reward. She grows up being a camwhore, then a murderer, and then dies without any other repercussion. That doesn't sound like punishment to me.

What honestly needs to be done is to sentence her to life in solitary confinement so that she can spend 23 hours per day locked up in a padded circular room while wearing a straitjacket. She can watch her body mature, age, and decay and spend the next ten thousand days thinking about what she did and why she's rotting away in that room. She can conintue to wake up each day forever waiting for her body to relent its natural will to survive.

I can think of no greater punishment to impose on a man than to spend decades in watching his body wither away; to live no matter how much you want to die.

If it were really so bad, she would just kill herself.
But you can't make a sociopath feel remorse, anyway.

the dying part is the punishment, she will find a way to see the bright side of her shitty situation and will adapt well enough to accept it. She will have moments of joy in her own little world regardless of her surrounding... fuck that, kill her.
