The AI bots in QW are so very, very bad. Shame, since it's a good game that needs high player counts and has a waning community.

Yep. Bots can't fix squat in games like this. All they can do is allow you to at least play the game when nobody else is. I hope that brink has a larger community. My only fear is that most of the people that played Wolf:ET and ETQW, and played it for a while, were on PC. My only comfort is that BC2 has a huge community and still going strong on 360. I'll be interested to see how big the maps are. I know vehicles aren't as big a part as in BF, but it would be nice to have large maps with many different ways to play. ETQW seems so linear after playing some BC2.
Fancy this getting bumped, they released a new trailer the other day.
Definitely a day one purchase for me.
This will flop and Splash Damage will be out of business shortly thereafter.
People said the same thing about Borderlands.
Who's Biff?
Anything more complex than deathmatch or simple "point capturing" modes will never be a hit with the masses. Bad Company, though it has a good community, attracts only thousands of players, not millions like Call of Duty does.
Borderland succeeds because it isn't so much a shooter, but a MMORPG played from the first person perspective.
I think Brink will be another Shadowrun as far as sales go.
