Wow. Sounds cool :) I wish I could travel too. Not sure about London gaming scene, but there are a lot of sights to see :)
Good luck, and have lots of fun there :)

I definitely want to see crazy guys with the crazy big hats that don't move for any kind of crazy shit. How do they do it...
About a week or so ago there was a thread about London, you should look for it. There was some good information there about SEGAWorld and stuff. :)
My girlfriend is in London right now visiting her parents. I'd give you some advice about where to go but she herself does not know many good places and had been trying to find some.
She has stumbled across some good deals though. Lesse... she bought two copies of Denki Blocks (a must have GBA puzzler) for £9 each (one is for me, yay!).. she got Kuru Kuru Kurinin (sp?) on sale somewhere. She bought a new black GBA. She bought a package of 2 used Megadrives, some games, controllers, and stuff for £10 (that one surprised me)... but she bought all this stuff at various stores she just wandered into. No notable locations, if I recall.
If you learn of any must-see locations please post them here, so I can send her to them.
Also, while you are in the UK be sure to pick up V-Rally 3 for GBA. It's already out there. :)
Anyway, have a nice time on your trip.
Check out the Trocadero arcade while you're there. It's got like seven stories of games.
Oh, and say hi to JAPJAC and TekCadet for me.
You are going at a good time for games (for a change).
Game On is on dammit, until 15th Sept: www.gameonweb.co.uk
Well worth a visit.
what part of london will you be visiting?
of 'course look for sega world, hanleys the bigest toystore in london with an arcade on the lower level, and there are a couple of namco arcades near china town...oh, all these places are located in downtown london.....i can't remember what trainstation will put you in the general area though.
London rules. It's one of the few decent places in England.
I will be going there on tuesday (I live an hour away but the train costs a fair bit so I can't go down as often as I like) to play at the arcades (Casino TCR, Namco and Troccy), buy some magazines from Japan Centre, chinatown, visit GameON and eat some good food.
Enjoy yourself.
