I doubt this game is bad or anything, but it's really tough to take any reviews about this game at face value. It's spotted 9 points just for being Halo.
Say what you will about the game but Bungie usually winds up doing unbelievably rad console multiplayer stuff that I wish every company would rip off but no one ever does.
So if this is anything like Halo 2 and 3, I'll sign on the multiplayer mode all excited about the options/modes, hear "nigger" forty times in sixty seconds then never play again. God bless XBox Live.

Also, who is going to be on at midnight for co-op? I'll have it but I'm not sure if I feel like subjecting myself to that dreadful realization that it's 5AM and I'm still playing the damn game.

I want to care about this game, but I just don't.
Prequels just don't do it for me when I've already played like 4 games in the series.
How about when it looks and plays a lot better than all those games?
