You haven't played them... but they're crap.

Squall, why are you only using this thread to debate how difficult Nintendo's games are? That's pretty much irrelevant in light of the original post, not to mention being pretty impossible to quantify.
And also not to mention not being anything of consequence.
ps: and yeah I don't have enough time to play the games I have purchased and like so you better beileve I outright never play a lot of games that I may deem as "crap", however undeserved that may be. Sorry.
It's relevant. Not necessary material, but certainly relevant.
The list was requested by Yoshi, and being the accommodating gentleman that I am, I furnished it.
Difficulty and checkpoints should ideally go hand in hand. As the list illustrates, it was more difficult for me to lost Nintendo games that weren't watered down from 2006 onward. Therefore, I can't see why anyone would get too worked up over what Miyamoto and Iwata think of a device that is largely unnecessary in their most recent works anyways.
Also, if you purchased a game but didn't have time to play it, how do you know that you like it? Just curious.
Nobody is worked up over checkpoints. If anyone is worked up about anything, it is them telling people who like challenging games that they're idiots for doing so. And also for them saying that Continuing was put into games because they got to be too challenging, because that is factually wrong.

Did you omit that word in quoting me on purpose? That word pretty much changes the entire purpose of the statement.Quote:

But nobody on TNL like their games because they're not hardcore enough. So what do you care what two Japanese guys think of your gaming preferences?
As for point of continues being added to games, I have no comment.
I quoted you accurately.Quote:

If you purchased them but didn't have enough time to play them, it's the same thing. It's like saying "I purchased a newspaper, but I didn't have enough time to read it." You still didn't read it. Even without the word "enough," it is still assumed that you didn't have enough time.
This thread should be titled "Squall Doesn't Get It."
What part of "these guys are making some of the biggest games released every year and they are saying really stupid shit about their customers" are we supposed to be okay with?
"Oh, well I've been saying Nintendo sucks for a while now, so this interview where they pretty much confirm why I think they've been sucking really doesn't matter to me."
If what they say bothers you--I mean, seriously bothers you--I hear there are some really fun games on the Xbox 360.
You are so dumb.
Here's what I'm getting at: if you don't like modern Nintendo games, and you don't like the way modern Nintendo execs feel about the industry, take your money and your time somewhere else. Yesterday, I finished the missions in GTA: Ballad of Gay Tony. Today, I finally got started on Brutal Legend. Both gaming experiences were quite fun. I had a good time, and the mean guys in charge of Nintendo couldn't do a damn thing about it.
Apparently I'm missing some huge aspect of this, and it's exasperating you to the point that you're resorting to personal attacks. So please, tell me what it is.
