Got my new Pee Cee today, it's got lots of Internets and everything!

and I can now run lots of games that I couldn't before! Except Mass Effect 2, I'll need a new video card for that :(

I finally gave in and got one of these just before the amazon special ended. I only have 3 joysticks already so it was totally necessary.

Just got back from a convention in Boston and spent way too much money-

Three volumes of Order of the Stick, which I'd have preferred to buy one at a time but can't find around here.

The stupidly-named Ball of Whacks, which is a magnetic toy I can mindlessly play with at work. Hopefully the magnets won't interfere with the computers, but it's not like I plan on sticking the pieces to the case. Also, my version is tri-color instead of just red.

And, not bought at convention but found in Boston, Rocket Slime, $9. I'd forgotten I'd wanted to play and there it was, sitting on a shelf dirt-cheap.

I don't want to say how much more I could have bought. It was a fun weekend, but very easy to go overboard.

Bought tickets to see Epica with some friends next Tuesday - $80 for 3 with $20 of it being a variety of fees. Yeah, fuck those things.

I picked up a black 360 controller for $50 at Walmart.

I don't get Walmart's logic with the site-to-store crap. I could have bought this same controller for $37 and had it shipped to the same store I'd bought the $50 controller at. Is there really a difference between getting the one they have on the shelf for the online price, and having me wait?


That's what I get for throwing my 360 controller onto the carpet, out of frustration with Pinball HOF and those last 4 retarded wizard goals. Say what you will about PS2 and PS3 controllers, but they don't fall apart like the S-controller or 360 controller do, when you give them a slight toss.

Scooped up another The Third Man since it recently went OOP and it's such a great fucking movie.

The Third Man is rad. I had no idea it and 8 1/2 were available on blu. Is this a recent development?
