Had a Baltika Grade 9 last night. It's self-described as an "extra lager" and kinda tasted like a watered down Newcastle, which wasn't bad but certainly wasn't great either. That said, the ABV is 8% and 2 pints within a reasonable time frame should be sufficient for a quality buzz. Highly recommended!

Nope! Came in a pint-sized glass bottle and everything! :)
I always see those at the local BevMo and have looked at the label more than once. Maybe I'll give it a try tomorrow night. I could use a quality buzz.
New Belgium Lips of Faith Tart Lychee. Not sour enough, not lychee enough. It's just mediocre.
That's too bad, but not surprising. I digs me some lychee.
Just be sure and set your expectations low and you won't be disappointed by the flavor. Otherwise it's the perfect beverage for a hot day, IMO.Quote:

I got one of those home beer making kits for my birthday from my girlfriend. Sounds fun AND tasty. Anybody use one of these things before?
I bought this by accident once and I cannot emphasize enough what a shitty beer it is. It's just a more alcoholic Coors Light. Do not buy. Not a "beer drinker's beer."Quote:
