So I tried the Sierra Nevada Porter yesterday. It wasn't bad maybe a hair too strong on the hops flavor. If you don't like Sierra Nevada in general I wouldn't recommend it since it has that very distinct Sierra Nevada taste to it.

Got an Aspell blush cider. Will be trying it later this evening.
Our high end beer guy recommended I track it down.
PV. You tried the Michelob Amber Bock or Porter yet? I promise I'm not trolling you... They're good!
I had an Older Rasputin last night which was really good. The tannins gave it a red wine vibe. Today for my after work beer I'm drinking Young's double chocolate from a can. First time I've had the can and I agree, can is better.
By Macro we are meaning "Large Brewery", right?
That is adorable.

My friend kept calling it older Rasputin, and now that I look it up on the internet I have no idea why. It's Old Rasputin XII. They age it 9 months in 12yo bourbon barrels. Description from their web site:
"Rasputin XII is Here!
For the past few years, barrel-aged Old Rasputin has been released in such limited quantities that it has been available only at the brewery retail shop. However, we have received so many requests for this beer that for the 12th anniversary, NCBC produced enough Old Rasputin XII to put into broader distribution. There’s certainly not a flood of it, but it is available in select areas. Check the distributor in your area to find where to get it.
We guarantee that the Old Rasputin XII will be worth the search. It is amazing stuff. Aging in oak whiskey barrels adds a level of complexity that amplifies the espresso/chocolate notes in the flavor profile and takes this unique beer to new heights.
