What's on Your Walls?
Moving into a new place here at the end of March, and I'm looking for ideas on what to put on the walls to get away from the college look. I have a couple concert poster screen prints framed, and I think I might do 2-3 more of those. On the other hand, I don't want that to be all that's up there.
So what do you guys have up? I'm particularly interested in the out of college element of TNL. :chunobi:

Since I moved into a bigger place I kind of want to put stuff up, but I'm a little broke right now so I'm holding off. I have a couple signed doo dads and actual paintings, a Talking Heads concert poster repro (which is assy quality and makes me mad), and some gaming stuff I had printed.
As I mentioned in gaming discussion, I've been printing up posters of some of my favorite old school game artwork lately. Right now I have Phantasy Star 1 and 2, Gunstar Heroes, Fantasy Zone, Wonder Boy III, and Machinarium up on my wall. Super nerdy, of course, but they make me happy because they're very individual.
I'm going to have some favorite pieces of non-gaming artwork printed soon too, maybe at a smaller size and hang them up as well. I have a lot of wall space left to fill.

pictures, or actual blood, shit and semen?
And are the blood, shit and semen all related?

Nah, just a harmless non sequitur.
In reality, my walls didn't have anything on them in my last apartment. I just never got around to buying anything that I wanted to display on a wall. I'm looking to remedy that while I'm in Korea.

My girlfriend really reeled in the geeky shit I was basically allowed to have on the wall and around the apartment. I have a tendency to overdecorate a bit with framed Star Wars and Smiths posters everywhere so I think it's been good for me.
Still, the apartment is a mix of her stuff and mine. On one wall is a blue cuckoo clock, a figurative art piece she bought and a framed imported Pavement poster. Several Steve Keene paintings here and there.
I like it, I fought pretty hard to fend off the apartment becoming too feminine.

I'll only speak for my computer room -

Then I have the model rickenbocker in the glass frame my father in law made, and the Beatles trading card frame he did as well.
The rest of the condo has stuff that goes with the house, I'm gonna get a print of the FFVI art Frog made for me also.

Well, I used to have some great movie posters all over my office room. DJ had bunch of game posters in his in his early years.
Living room walls are pretty empty, sans for couple of framed dj's digital works. Once I make him get off his lazy ass, and make more cool stuff, I can frame those too.
And dining room, has some wall hanged gnome collector plates, that wife collects.

Currently I have 4 guitars hanging and a few picture frames with nothing in them. I used to have up framed movie posters but no longer have the room in my new place. Eventually I plan on having an LCD hanging up next to the guitars.

We have prints of paintings, photos, and art deco ads in themes by room. We have an Egyptian room, a Japanese room, a retro Cuban room, etc. Unfortunately, the painting hasn't caught up with the art yet, so it definitely looks unfinished.
And I still need to cut and frame my SNK art book stuff for my office.
