I like the interface that they're showing.
Or maybe just that font.
FINALLY
edit: vvv yeah they can make people bitch and moan because nothing has silverlight support
Good thing the Windows Mobile 7 is confirmed to not have Flash support.
Is it jus

The cutoff has happened since the new UI for the Zunes. On them the cut off text autoscrolls. Will probably be the same here.
Good thing Adobe released a statement that they are working closely with Microsoft to bring a fully featured Flash browser support to future Windows Phones.
This platform announcement is way ahead of the expected schedule within the market, but really, it's almost too little too late. If the WinMo 7 development environment even slightly emulates what has came before it it's going to be laughed out of the market from 3rd party developers. Especially with 100 estimated Android devices being released in the next year and a new version of the iPhone (ideally with 4.0 OS).
They're going to show the Xbox Live integration at the Mix10 conference next month.
It's cute that Microsoft keeps trying to be relevant in the mobile phone market, but I will admit I do kind of like the interesting "web 2.0" UI they've got going on here. (Which I know is inspired by the Zune, which I also found interesting.)
I don't like it enough to suffer the shame of owning a Microsoft- and IE-powered mobile phone, however.
Why wouldn't they just design it to fit on one screen? Strange design choice.
Also, if it's true that MS is telling manufacturers that they can't alter the UI, I expect HTC to pay Windows Mobile lip service the way they do currently with the HD2, but focus most of their efforts on Android.
Question: Why is this not in Circuit Board? Is it because of the XBox Live integration? Just asking.
Because it specifically mentions games. It's not just a Windows Live integration.

Semi-Related.
This is looking up but I want to know how 3rd party integration is going to happen. So far I have seen only one halfway decent app from XNA and the rest are pure garbage.
Just watched the 22 minute demo so that's what happened to Laura Foy. When it comes out, I'll go ahead and replace my work phone with it (awful Touch Pro WinMo 6.1 crap). I was thinking about getting an Android or Palm phone, but the owner of my company acts like Bill Gates' son, so this is probably a better choice.
It does seem to flow fairly well with what's built into the phone. There are some UI mistakes, and it seems like it'd get pretty unwieldy with a lot of third party stuff installed, but for what's there it seems good. The e-mail client is really nice, and it looks like pocket IE is actually worth a shit now. Also the Zune interface is really nice, and I like the idea of Zune Pass since I just dropped SiriusXM for being awful.
So overall, looks like a good phone and I can see why people would want it. For me personally, I don't see it replacing the iPhone, but that isn't really a requirement.
How did you sit through a 22 minute phone demo.
He's on the clock. I sit through some dumb ass shit when I'm getting paid for it too.
It's a fast 22 minutes.
I said the same thing about your mom.
