Yeah, I've known about this for a while. Ebert's a great man who is intelligent and passionate about movies and you really have to admire the courage he's displaying here.
For some reason I thought he lost only half of his lower jaw, guess not. I'm with Yeller and Diff on this one, he's easily the most engaging film writer. If you haven't heard them before, he gives great commentary tracks, I'd like to hear more actually, I know he's done them for Citizen Kane, Dark City and Crumb. There are others as well.
Let's not forget that he wrote Beyond the Valley of the Dolls either.
I had no idea.
I love Ebert. His blog is consistently one of the best places on the internet.
I like Ebert a lot. He's actually the only movie reviewer I read regularly. And his retorts to disgruntled directors are always hilarious.
But 7 pages? TLDR
I love Ebert, he is fantastic.
Reading the first and last page of the article is the same as going through all 7.
I liked the article a lot and I didn't feel the need to bitch about clicking Next Page a few times. I guess I still have a lot to learn from you guys!
