funny you mentioned Popeye's... the day Obama was inaugurated my girl and I were in St. Thomas and went to a Popeye's where a black lady standing right behind us felt the need to shout that she was equal to the white man now. This right after she put 50 cents into a 25 cent machine and was giving the cashier hell for losing her quarter. Us being the only whites in the place was a pretty awesome experience. Even the people behind the counter looked embarrassed for her and I wanted so badly to turn around and give her a quarter, but I didn't... regrets.
