From what I've read the dedicated PhysX cards aren't worth their price anyway.
Nvidia won't have a DX11 card in the market for another couple of months, ATI has great stuff out there now (I'm using a Radeon 4870) and I don't care about PhysX since it doesn't work on ATI cards.
Great thing about the game using steamworks is that you can by the retail version on the cheap and just register the cd-key on steam. I have high hopes for this game now after looking at some previews.
edit: Nvidia's DX11 stuff, Geforce GTX 470/480, will be launched March 26.
