Just started the final chapter. There's quite a lot of retarded shit in this game (story and game design), but always has York to keep the mess from feeling irredeemably stupid.
Scratch that. End of the game is absolutely terrible.
The retarded shit is why I play the game. If the end is terrible, I'm going to love it.

Saw a bunch of these at Fry's when I was in the Bay last week but due to region protection didn't pick it up. Will have to wait for the overpriced JP release gets discounted...

This game isn't nearly as shitty as i'd been led to believe. I don't know if it's from this gen being so awful in the first place, but this is certainly better than Heavy Rain, Bayonetta, Mass Effect Anything, Skeet Fucker IV, and all that other stupid shit you dumb fucks like but i refuse to ever play because it's too fucking terrible for me to waste my time on. Like i hear there are game-breaking glitches to watch out for, and sometimes the backgrounds are just so bad, but compared to all that clunky shit and words that New Gen games throw at you, this is way better than average.
I think the general consensus here is that the game is pretty awesome.
Definitely. I'm taking my time with it. Still haven't finished it, but just enjoying the weirdness and just wandering around getting cards and such. I LOVE the awesome shittiness of the race music!
