It's funny that you mention that, I was randomly poking through PSP demos last night and found one for HS Tennis, which I never knew existed. I love a good tennis game, and the demo was fun. I must aquire.
Also, CAG reports that Gamestop stores have marked down Ys Chronicles LE to $19.99. I haven't had any luck finding it though.
That's how much I got it for. It was super expensive on eBay and Amazon but I found a GS like 20 minutes away that had one. Might as well.
I think I just figured out what I don't like about VP. You have all these engaging and emotional scenes that build up your characters, and then you have all these completely unrelated dungeons where you do nothing at all for the plot or the characters story-wise.
I put 60-some odd hours into Disgaea: Hour of Darkness on PS2 across two playthroughs. I'm up to 123 now in Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness PSP across four playthroughs (so far) including one Etna Mode, and still have lots to do.
I love getting back from an item world trip and sorting through all the new goodies I snatched, and checking up on my progress in the Collection Book. Pretty sure I posted about this before, but when I see that "New" next to an item on a monster, the urge to steal is irresistible. Unfortunately my rogue is only Lv. 250-ish and leveling him is a pain in the butt, so I must rely on Laharl's annoyingly low 50% success rate for most of my pilfering. I guess I need to buckle down and do like an hour of CoO3 with Thefster the rogue, but I don't wanna.
I'm leveling a rare Nirvana for defense, and I just finally stole a rare Cosmic Blade, so leveling that will be my priority soon.
Holy crap, I don't think I've put that much time into any game, ever. I've got Disgaea on PSP, I need to pop it in sometime.
I think I want to play Ys next, but I had no luck finding a physical copy locally and it's still fairly expensive on PSN. Maybe I'll grab one of the other titles, it's not like I haven't played 1 and 2 before on the TG16.
I think I put that much time into DOAX, mostly at the casino.
YS I & II CHRONICLE IS SO GOOD.
And yeah, I'm planning on doing the Disgaea thing on the PSP and following it up on the Vita. JRPGs and handhelds are soooo made for each other,~ hearts ~
I got to the tower of Commandant Lassard and it was pretty awesome! I took a peek at how to do the best ending and it's bullshit, you have to tank your rating after a certain point by doing all these events that aren't even shown to you when you press start, so I don't know how you'd know to find them there. I think I can still do it, but at the worst I'll get it on the PS. I'm playing through Hard and I don't know if it affects enemies and damage and shit, but some of these fights are kind of rough. I'm getting by just fine, though.Quote:

I loved the Disgaea games so much. The amount of time I put into the first 2 PS2 Disgaea are unfathomable. My goal in both was to get the ultimate version of every item and level it to 100. My characters were so highly leveled on Disgaea 2, that their stat totals bled outside of the tables.Quote:
