How so? You get games that wouldn't have been localized at all if a retail release was the only option. Having Patchwork Heroes, a full-priced UMD game in Japan, localized and released at $10 here was fuckin' awesome.
That makes sense, but when you go the other way and see that major releases like Kingdom Hearts don't get digital releases it just splinters the whole lineup.
Not being able to play Kingdom Hearts on the PSP Go is one of its most redeeming features.
The go has redeeming features?
Bluetooth support for PS3 controller + TV out seems like it would be nice, the game suspend feature is neat (it's not just sleep, you can suspend a game, run something else, then pick up where you left off), and I found the analog stick placement to be much more comfortable.
Doesn't offset a more expensive system with an incomplete library of games you could mostly find for the less at retail, of course.
Here's TNL's ClaDun review. You could do worse for twenty bucks, especially on the PSP.
I've seen PSPgo drop to $199 in a few places, and I'm considering picking one up. At that price, it's about the same as buying a PSP3000 and a 16GB memory stick, and I'd rather not have to deal with UMDs anyway. Is there any other reason why I would be better off with the PSP3000?
the go sucks balls?
I kinda really wanted a Go at first. We had one traded in very soon after it was launched. I took it home for the weekend. I was more than happy to give it back.
1) I used to not think there was any way to make the analog nub any worse. Then I played on the go. I could be entirely wrong, but it seemed to me that there was less range of movement in the Go version than in a regular PSP.
2) buttons too small and too close together
3) I'm kinda cheap (very) and I like to be able to play games I bought on clearance and or used, but most importantly:
4) NOT ALL PSP GAMES ARE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD! Why spend more money on something that has fewer options?
