Her (later): "It's actually a really good deal, so you guar-"
Me: "Yeah, I've got enough games in my Pile of Shame that I'm never buying another $60 game, y'know?"
Her (at the end): "Well, just so you know, the $5 goes to the price of the game when it comes out."
Me: "Gotcha."
Who the fuck doesn't know this shit already?
It's really my own fault for giving that stupid company my $$$. Crap.
When doesn't Adobe phone it in any more? How come every other digital media software company can make 64 bit versions of their apps? hell how have they not made Linux versions of at least Photoshop yet? They're resting on their laurels big time and some one needs to come along and knock them down a peg.
I'm all for Apple bashing, but what laurels are they resting on? They're a rounding error in the home computer business. And they deserve the credit they are getting for the iPhone.
I'm talking about Apple pretty much telling Adobe to go fuck themselves now.
Weird considering Adobe pretty much kept Apple alive with their art production software. For years the retort was always, "Artists use Macs! Macs and Photoshop are perfect together, there's nothing better!"
