The interest amount comes to around 8% from what my calculator tells me. I don't know what the Mets earned on it to date but it doesn't seem like a crazy huge figure. But this was a figure surely decided beforehand, we're not talking about nuclear physics.
I don't know what they have to pay him if he dies, and I don't have my actuarial tables in front of me. But Bobby Bo is 47 and lots of chicken wings, pizza, and steroids presumably take their toll on a man.

I love watching Keith Hernandez. He's hilarious. I think he's given up on the Mets, which makes it even funnier.
Keith is having fun ripping on Matt Kemp. He also goes crazy when there is sloppy play. Drives him nuts which makes it even more entertaining.
