Rapes per capita in America have gone down every single year since 2002 and they've dropped by over 30% since 1990.
I'm actually waiting for the follow-up on how badly her quote was mangled. This article has gotten enough play that she's got to be inundated with inquiries by now, asking how something that stupid and blatantly wrong could be attributed to her. I think the comedy on this is just beginning.
I swear I thought that article was a blog post at first, and had to double-check a couple times before I could accept this being posted as news on even a site as bullshit-prone as Fox.

She's also mis-attributed as being a psychologist, when she is in fact a psychiatrist. The difference does matter if one is claiming to do research.
