It's like you're trying to say something, I just know it.

The questions makes perfect sense to me.
Since there was no combo that needed resetting, it just looks like Thor can 100% combo no problem. Maybe his XFC gives a big damage boost, and that combo was initiated by a big command throw? In which case, I wouldn't say that's too busted (compared to everything else), if Thor has to XFC, then command thow, and then combo out. What's busted is that he can do it risk-free out of block stun.
I just have no idea what XFC means so when it's used a million times in a post it's might as well be Latin.
Well we didn't make the word, new fancy thing in this game called "X-Factor cancel". It let's your character cancel whatever he is doing and start a combo, like a roman cancel in guilty gear.
For Bojack, well Fury answered it perfectly. It's not that it is no risk, I don't care about that. If the risk was just that you lost the xfc (you only get it once per match), it would be worth it. The problem is that command throw is likely 0-1 frames, so it is almost impossible to bait that out, he can always do it on reaction. And like 1/3 of the cast has command throws that many can probably combo off, off the top of my head sent (with 100% combo confirmed already), bionic commando, she hulk, hagger, x-23, and I think a few more, I forget.
But you don't even need a command throw, you just need a throw you can combo off. =(.
If XFC ruins high level play, and at low level play nobody cares, WHY IS IT IN THE GAME.
So you're saying XFC is like a risk-free get out of jail free card, except that card also lets you rape your jailer free of charge. Gotcha. They'll probably patch this if things get out of hand, but it's also a fighting game, you'll probably have to wait for Super MvC3 for that.
instead of a select few having abusable bullshit, the vast majority does
BALANCE!
Well, in 2023 we can look forward to Marvel 4 hopefully not sucking or that 3 will pan out differently but simple 100% combos right off the bat means damages and scaling need adjusting for what's going on. Thor did a command grab that did quarter life... ok command grabs should usually do something like that. But this command grab leads to a super combo? W/o even needing the corner? With no apparent way to get out of it? Fuck that Capcom. I can't think of a single 100% combo in 2 that started with an inescapable command grab set up or the inability to mash/roll out. Fuck man, I'm still reeling at how they changed the tag ins. Oh well I'll still play this anyways cuz it's Marvel and hope they update the shittiness.
After the goofs in SFIV (not super although I don't know enough SF4 to know if Super is that much better), Tekken 6, Calibur 3&4, and now Marvel, I'm starting to think the devs really don't have a good grasp on what made their predecessors so good or use very minimal if any input from the gaming populace. Guilty Gear is immune to this complaint as they make quarterly releases.
