This. When I was trying to use Akuma's dive kick and was doing a hurricane kick instead, I had rage. We grew up on this shit, there should be an option to not have it tarded up.

People had no problems playing it before, so instead of finding a happy medium, or using EO they irritate the fanbase that made it so popular to begin with. Every. Single. Character. has the same cookie cutter combo, launch, cookie cutter combo, Special, OR tag out, and then repeat. I have gotten used to it and can embarrass some of the people online now, but that doesn't make it better.

THIS. I feel the same way with SSF4. It's more fun to try everyone and see all the crazy shit they can do.

Also, Spencer is pretty brutal. I was going for the beat Arcade on the hardest mode achievement and got through the first 4 matches without too much trouble, but then got set against a Doom/MODUK(?)/Spencer, and hit a brick wall. That guy has some pretty mean links and shit that I just could not avoid.

His Bionic Lancer or whatever the super is where he just spikes forward seems pretty brutal. It goes through a LOT of stuff.

I'm probably not very good but it takes me a good amount of time and practice to be good with even one character, let alone the entire roster.

People hate to see me mop the floor with X-23. She has NO lifebar but one of her hypers sails right through projectiles, so waiting for a painfully long hadouken animation to start means almost always landing it. She also combos exceedingly well. I also use Morrigan right now but mostly as a crutch as she's not much different at all from TvC and I played her a bit in that one. Captain America is pretty brutal at times as well.

What button scheme are you stick-players using? I can't seem to find one that clicks.

Type B. Dunno how else it'd work, even if the assists being horizontal is a little screwy.

also people should probably stop saying "lol balance who cares" when the current big complaints aren't very character-related.

I play only zero in this, I don't even have a team (me and my roomates switch off mid match). I like zero, I still don't think I like the game though.

Anyhow, I made up this 80% 1 bar zero combo which looks really weird. My Roomate capped it on his cell phone, so the quality isn't all that, but I am surprised I was about to hit 80% on day 2 with a relatively weak hitting characters. I have little doubt most people will be doing 100% combos soon enough. As of now it is the most powerful 1 bar zero combo.
