Well it's the same idea right? You miss the initial hit, they spin away and fall into reset damage.
The idea is the super screen no longer being there when you land the next combo'd hit. If they fall into the beam it won't reset anything since the screen is still there. Spin is the main component but if you're doing it from a super that screen has to be gone too. Unless, of course, their supers not part of the body.

I can guarantee you there will be know 3xP or 3xK macros for MvC3.
I've seen people do it on controllers. Really it's up to the organizer but I don't practice with those macros anyway to avoid this exact scenario. Good luck and keep me informed.
