I didn't realize we were arguing hype. Backstreet boys had a ton of hype to. So did Nsync. You must love those bands.

GG will get 40 million times more hype and fan fare worldwide than the next marvel, like GG had over MvC2. In the small world of mediocre fighting game players that is America, MvC3 will reign supreme once more, and everyone can go on playing their TvC ripoff.

I am not even saying that MvC2 is a silly game, it isn't, I am just saying you are a silly person.

Edit: And I'm not gonna lie, I play SF4 now and then because it is like checkers. I don't want to have to learn a whole new game.

GG isn't half the game VF is. VF is a terrific fighter. GG doesn't deserve to hold VF's piss bucket. I gave GG an honest shot back at X, or was it XX? I can't remember but every time I play it I come away bored as shit. Slow ass KoF XI is a more interesting fighter than GG. UMK3 matches are more exciting to watch.

Lots of people play 3S too. It's also a great game. Much better than GG. GG is like 2d Bloody Roar or DoA2 with enough production value and over the top anime-iness to trick people into playing it.

All of the screenshots for this game look like total shit. If you're going to go 3D at least stylize the characters so they look kind of like the old sprites. Too early to tell?
