Dante from DMC has a costume change or an "alt" that lets you play as Virgil. Also Deadpool does break the 4th wall... quite often. If you are losing he will yell at you through the game saying things like "Hey i'm doing all the work while your just sitting there!" Also one of his supers he grabs his life bar from the top of the screen and beats the other character with it.
I'm a huge fan of both the Super Street Fighter 4 and MvC2 games and I don't care if I suck at this game I'm getting MvC3. I still remember all of the money I lost at the arcades playing MvC2 against guys who could non-stop combo you. Good times, Good times.
The only reason this game has interest is because of its pedigree. They've smartly chosen not-so-popular Marvel characters to milk and exploit. But the control set-up, speed and physical presentation of this game all scream mediocre.
What? Deadpool has NEVER been as popular as he is right now. The only marginally popular characters are skrull, strange, and dormammu.
If that roster turns out real, I will be very pleased. Though down the line, a DLC expansion or retail revamp bringing back some of the missing MVC2 favorites like Tron Bonne, Strider and Cable (can't believe they added Deadpool and then dropped Cable) would be nice.
I think they have to pay Jean Reno again if they ever want to use that character (or even just rerelease that game), so it probably won't happen. As for Joe, look again. ;)Quote:
