nevermind babies, throwaway psn accounts for gamesharing are quick and easy... they also have the added benefit of being reusable, so you and 4 friends can load up on everything you want through the one account (it's limited to 5 system activations per account though, so you'd need another one if you want to share with other people)

RoleTroll I'd at least get the maps somewhere down the road, 9 10 and 11 are the tops and you can get all kinds of crazy overpowered weapons in them

And by can get he means a 1% chance off a boss chest after a 10 minute (or worse) level.

That's a pretty weak analogy, since you can't play a loaned physical copy on four different systems at the same time. Plus, this violates the TOS, which TNL should be supporting.

I didn't realize TNL was a subsidiary of SCEA.

Used to do that all the time with PC games. Some games even came pre-packaged with bonus installs just so that you could have friends join you from different computers with only one purchased copy!

Regardless, it's exactly what's happening so it's a pretty strong analogy.

I'd say it's more like sharing a satellite tv subscription, but whatever.
If publishers have an issue with it, they can go the Final Fight route, or just pressure Sony to change their DLC system to something more like what XBLA uses.

So thieves screw over the legitimate customers, and we're ok with that? This place sucks.

wow I've never seen anybody whine so hard about things that absolutely don't concern them in any way at all

in any case, if sony really didn't want people doing it they'd change the 5 system activations per account limit to something more tightly controlled or force in FF/warhawk drm but they don't so deal with it
