Why Is College Hella Wasteful?

Yea, it's elitist to think college seats should be filled by people who earned their spot in the classroom, instead of people who can pay for it.

Education and knowledge shouldn't have to be earned. It should be there for anyone that desires it. If they make the most of it while they are there is up to them. But the option should always be there.

In magic land where college seats and resources are infinite I am sure it is set up like this, but here in the real world, that stuff is limited so you have to pick and choose who can use them. So one way is to see who "desires" education by seeing who applied it in their prior schooling.

That isn't a very good indicator. There are plenty of good people that have screwed up prior to wanting to change their life or take their life in another direction.

We have people on this board that are really smart but fucked up in high school or college. I'm not going to tell them they can't go to a good college because the last semester they were in school, they got a bunch of D's or F's because their dad died or the found out how good pot and pussy was.
