Attention Rebels: We Are Building a Death Star Laser

So essentially some scientists from the USA watched too much Star Wars as kids. The end result is a laser that is 3 football fields long, splits into 196 individual beams, and hits an area the size of a BB.
Sure, said scientist are saying hurf durf power generation...but I think we all know better. The area of reaction will be heated to hotter than our sun.

Initial reports are that it's power level is over 9000 at this time.
