In staring at my GameCube shelf last night, I realize that the Japanese mode of my system was going to waste. Everything that I have and have had for the Japanese GCN eventually came out here.
I need to fix that problem.
Can anyone recommend some GameCube imports that haven't been released here and that have not been announced for American release?

I think the only one is Doshin the Giant
Animal Leader? Not to be confused with Animal Crossing/Forest.
Those are the two I expected to see mentioned, but I could not rememeber if either was announced for the USA.
The two I have are: Animal Leader and Groove Adventure Rave.
I can testify for Animal Leader being a great game; but it's NOT for everyone. Do some research before you commit to that one...
Groove Adventure is a Power Stone esque game. I think it's a lot of fun, though not quite as much as Power Stone.
Either way, reviews are plentiful for both.
I owned animal leader, and I didn't like it much. Your milage may vary.
Konami's RAVE: groove adventure seems to be a good game, from what I've read and seen. Doshin is set for a european release, so I'm waiting for that if it doens't come to the US. Koei's Battle Houshin is set for a US release under the name Mystical Heroes.
So, yeah, I'd recommend RAVE.
I think that Kinnikuman (M*U*S*C*L*E) game is still on its way. Then there is Fire Pro, which is coming out in the States, but with wrestlers names and appearances changed to respect U.S. laws, the Japanese version will be the one to get.
If you hate wrestling games, you can just play the heck out of Doshin.
All right. I just ordered Animal Leader and Doshin for about $113 shipped from YesAsia (VGD and NCS only had one or the other). Animal Leader sounds like Darwinism on a disc, so I am all about trying that one. Can anyone else give a yay or nay to Rave? I am skeptical with Konami's recent console track record.

I hope Ramen Man makes the cut, after that weak Dirty Challenger game that left all the main characters out, I was a bit angered.
I am pretty sure Doshin is coming out in the U.S., Nintendo released a list of Dates for when all the games they have coming out for the rest of 2002 in the U.S. are, and Doshin was on the list for like an October/November release if I remeber corectly. And I have read that it is indeed coming out in the U.S., after Animal Crossing comes out.
You are right, of course. I just wanted to make it seem like there were more options besides wrestling games.
My Japanese GameCube is whirring kinda funny lately. I hope it makes it to Fire Pro.
The Japanese-only Gamecube lineup is pretty grim at the moment- too many evolution sims and "world-managing" affairs. I probably should have given Doshin or Animal Leader a shot, but I think I've had my fill for a little while with Pikmin.
Oh well- Sunshine in a couple of weeks!
