tell me why it's 'retarded'?
Yeah, definitely check it out. It's a black and white comic that became a pretty huge hit mostly because it doesn't really do anything that you'd expect. It's more about how horrible people are to each other than zombies. To compare using horrible spoilers, by this point in the story Rick's son shot Shane as he was attempting to kill Rick so he could have Lori back. There were twin boys, around 10 years old or so, who had been orphaned and start going a little nuts. One kills the other because he knows his brother will "come back soon anyway." Not knowing what to do with a crazy little boy they lock him up and discuss options all night. After they fall asleep Rick's son sneaks into the trailer and shoots the kid in the head. There are tons of bombs left and right that the show has already ignored.
I was really excited to see the comic come to life but they deviated from the story pretty quickly, and now it feels like every episode is like a filler episode from an anime. They spend way too long in every location, it's like they're dragging a couple of comic's worth into a full season. Maybe every LOCATION will be a season? That would be terrible. I don't know why they're padding the show so much when the comic's been out for years; there is tons of material there to keep this show going.
Whatever, first season started off great but you could literally see my interest wane as they deviated from what I expected. I'm sure there's still an audience for what they do but it's just not me.
Yes.
Welcome to TNL.
Yeah, people aren't very nice here, especially if you react to them.
That being said, I love this show. I think the season is moving a little slow but I've liked all the episodes. Fuck you motherfuckers.
I did not expect that ending!
Last few episodes pretty slow and boring, but last night's was surprisingly good. Crazy ending.
Awesome episode from start to finish. Characters are finally stepping up and making moves.
