I lived in probably the most isolated town in Puerto Rico for four months, I know silence you can hear everything but you guys are overlooking that he's old. As long as we're reaching for what you think should have happened what if he were hard of hearing?

I think the main invitation to hate is that this series would be incredible if it would just follow the fucking graphic novels instead of doing its own thing. All it needs to be amazing is already RIGHT THERE. And I'm honestly not being a "the book was better" snob when I say that; I just don't understand why they would mess with the source material when it's so obviously (and unusually) superb.

Haven't read the graphic novels, don't really care. I'm judging it on its own merits independent of that.

It's like the first episode of the season all over again.

This show is written by middle school kids who don't even like to write.

Oh yeah, did the writers forget T-Dog exists? I don't think he's even been on screen in a few episodes.

He was on screen for about 10 seconds total in the last episode. He did the best he could with the lines given. :D

Cash is tight at AMC. that's the reason some characters don't even show up for some episodes.

Also probably the reason they lost so many people on the creative side.

AMC seems really good at developing some strong shows, but they don't have the resources to keep them going. They almost lost Mad Men and Breaking Bad on some budget issues, too.

I don't think the fact T-Dogg disappears for episodes is because AMC can't afford him. They have plenty of useless characters filling his void, like Hershel's shitty daughter(s).

AMC overpaid Weiner to finish Mad Men, and now every other show must suffer for it. The network is really run by idiots.

Mad Men made their network. Let's not forget this.
