<3, because it's g0zen!
Any holy shit this show has gotten down to serious business. I've been thouroughly entertained by this season, more so than any of the other ones so far, but last night really stepped shit up for me. The desolate terror and dark nature of pure survival in the prison juxtaposed to the like g0zen said Stepford quality of Woodbury is absolutely fantastic. It seems like they are really building up to a massive climax in the most intense and suspenseful way possible, instead of the worst way possible like last season on the farm. Fantastic episode last night, and this is the first time I have had the I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT UNTIL NEXT SUNDAY feeling with The Walking Dead.
That sneaky zombie horde is back at it! One moment you are smiling at your friends, then 6 seconds later a horde has moved through 2 gates and shuffled 200 feet before you notice them!
Solid episode though, it's been a fun ride so far this season.
Wow, nobody really is safe on this show. It must be terrifying to be an actor on this show knowing your last paycheck could be any day.
So far this has been a pretty excellent season, but I wasn't super impressed with this episode. I'm not sure why. There was lots of shocking stuff in there, but some of it just felt empty to me. Maybe that's the point. [I also felt that with the Stepford thing - yes, it does provide interesting juxtaposition - but the scenes in this episode were downright pointless and brought nothing new.] Lori's scene was probably the highlight for me, through it all... certainly memorable.
T-Dog? Just when he was getting more lines. It just seems too convenient that five minutes later another black man is appearing to join the group. "There's T-Dog's replacement," I said...
