Dude you live in San Francisco now, what are you doing with an Android phone?

Where is my iPhone!
I know and after reading the reviews and this:
I'm really considering it.Quote:
- New and improved 3D visuals and story sequences only for Android
- Smooth, intuitive touch-panel controls specifically tailored to Square Enix's smartphone RPGs
- Quicker browsing through the monster bestiary and other game records
- New visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards
It is like anything they do where they charge more than other companies... look at their iOS ports that are also very expensive. Jokingly called the "Square tax." It's basically the DS game with some tweaks. I have trouble justifying $1.99 when so many games are 99 cents or free, so I'm certainly not buying this game.
If you'd pay $16 for it on your gameboy, why not your phone?
It's an improved version of the DS game. It's very nice. But to charge more than double what even high-end offerings like Dead Space and Mass Effect cost? It's a bit much to ask. Not because of the value proposition, but because of the competition. It seems like they'd make more money at a lower price point.
FFIII DS has a miracle of a control scheme married to a slick UI. I'll get this when I upgrade to something with a bigger screen for sure.
Is it possible to install the default book/reading app from a Kindle Fire onto a non-Kindle Android tablet? I think it's the only app that supports Kindle's KF8 format right now.
Why not just install the amazon kindle app? Does that not work?
I'll see how good the standard Android version is, but the current iOS Kindle app is pretty shitty IMO.
