When everyone on this site buys a next gen console, I anxiously await the gameplay benefit they will experience. It's a retarded standard. The experience is absolutely better, period.
You sound like the idiots who won't give up physical media.

No, there will be none. And that doesn't make one bit of difference.
I'm glad we agree!
That's quite a stretch. I'll buy FPS as the most obvious example. Third person action/adventure games I'll buy. Racing games are marginal, because you can hear the cars coming even in stereo. Platformers I'm not buying. Most RPGs I'm not buying.
Any action game or game with action elements, including FPS', TPS', action-adventures, action-RPGs, platformers, etc. all benefit from being able to hear enemies and weapons fire from any direction. Seeing as how we have fusions of just about every genre with action elements, that covers pretty much everything.
Whereas "Diorama Effect" 3D just puts shit in front of you.
I understand your point, but that's still a very liberal interpretation of gameplay benefit. Guns I'm 100% with you. Just knowing some goomba is off the screen to your left in Mario is not really of benefit.
