The Real Ghostbusters is one of the few cartoon licenses that did its original movie justice, especially with its clever and witty writing. Usually licensed cartoons are typically distilled down to generic Saturday morning cartoon tropes, but this really felt like an extension of the movie. It remains one of my all-time favorite series.
It also had a killer soundtrack that I wish someone would compile and release. I've looked everywhere for it, but it seems like one was never released.
the first few seasons were great.

Yeah, unfortunately, the later episodes did eventually degrade to generic kiddie fare when they put more emphasis into Slimer and his antics rather than the Ghostbusters themselves.
some really epic shit has gone down in that show, it will always be my number 1 favorite cartoon

The Real Ghostbusters inspired my dream of later becoming a ghostbuster myself. Unfortunately, by the time I was old enough, they were no longer hiring.

People around here sometimes act (and play) like you can't have a fun game of fightmans deluxe between friends, and it's play tourney level errday.

Anthony bullshits but he plays tournament level at all times. If Ultimate were so easy breezy you'd go out of your scope at least once. Either way, I don't have fun with fighting games unless it's someone as good or better than me. That just happens to disqualify almost all of TNL.

To be fair you're always "in training" or whatever and you don't use voice chat. It is possible to take something seriously, but still pull back and have fun with it too. Example: playing a sloppy cover at band practice instead of drilling scales to a metronome. Other example: playing fightmans and talking shit with your friends.Quote:
