Incorrect! They're little ten five minute one-offs that connect the seasons that the BBC likes to air as part of its holiday charity fundraiser what-not.
They're bonus features on the DVD, and due to their nature don't show up on BBC America repeats.

Well... I've never heard them referred to as "Christmas specials" before, but whatever. I think the Christmas episodes, like "The Christmas Invasion," are more considered to be Christmas specials. Semantics; we both sent him to the same mini-episodes.
Yeah I'm a Donna fan. I think she's been my favorite of the new series as well.
New Doctor was okay, but some of the writting seems lacking, still the whole dynamic between Rory, Amy, and the Doctor might be fun to explore.

I liked the most current season enough but only after all the episodes were shown, to show how it all integrated.

He's way more goofy than Eccleston, but not annoying goofy.
