Yeah I have tried bumping speed as high as 93 and I notice hardly any difference between that and having speed set to 85.
I think it might be because I'm using the 13" skates, which already provide a big boost to speed all by themselves.
Spend most of your "Athleticism" points in acceleration/agility, getting them into the high 80s/low 90s
Then boost strength/endurance to the high 70s/low 80s.
Throw the leftovers into balance.

Man, it is tempting to go back to Playmaker after getting the extra legend attributes.
You can actually get the Playmaker's shot power up to 92 while still maxing out puck control, deking, hand eye and offensive awareness.
But you sacrifice a ton of checking power and your guy ends up being a fragile flower on the ice.
Two-Way Forward has a crap shot (81 shot power) and a lot less stick skills, but he is so fierce with 95 checking and 90 strength.
Hard to give up that checking ability since it is the key to slowing down all the fragile speedsters that you see on other top teams.
Power Forward is basically the same thing only without the face off skills you need as a centerman.
Power Forward would be perfect for anyone playing on the wing.

I expect to play this on thursday and friday.

I really want to learn to play goalie now that we can field a good team, but I don't want to drop everyone's +/-
-
As long as we are playing teams with other human goalies, I don't mind.
You actually get more points in the ranking system for winning games with a human goalie.
-
I don't think you know how shitty I am as a goalie.

One other player type you guys should try out:
Tough Guy
You can get his shot power, checking, and strength up to 99 real easy.
I am having a blast just mowing people down in the open ice with this guy.
Also scored a few laser wrist shots with that 99 shot power and strength.
The problem is you need a lot of boosts and experience points to make the rest of his offense (hand-eye, puck control) viable.

I'm awake and we should play this today.
-
Yeah sorry was watching District 9 with my fam. Let's play now!
