I like what I played of SC2, but I always find the idea of strategy games and RTS' to be more interesting than the actual games themselves. I'm not sure any of them have ever kept my attention long enough to beat them, though Warcraft III came close.

In the past I'd agree with you. But SC2 is basically a time machine/chat program for the people who have stopped playing WoW - so it'll have some legs.

I can talk to these WoW fuckwads that I met over the past 5 years for free with SC2, and play games too?
I'll be playing it for a while.

Yoshi will nuke TNL if DQ9 wins over probably the biggest PC game released in the past several years.
