Ken Levine has said that work isn't even close being done on the DLC yet. Take that how you will.
I take that as a second revenue stream to extend the life of a product.
I still think season passes are stupid, since they effectively amount to pre-orders of DLC, but as long as BioShock Infinite feels complete, the presence of it doesn't bother me. And hey, if they make anything as good as BioShock 2's "Minerva's Den" add-on, I'll happily buy it.
So I can pretty much ignore Bioshock 2 right?

Yeah, the plot of mainline Bioshock 2 is terrible, but Minerva's Den is pretty good. Gameplay is good all around.
