Yes I love all things Japanese, I am an open-minded person who respects and takes interest in other countries and cultures rather than being xenophobic and sticking to my one country of birth. I will be studying Japanese and French at university as the linguistic as well as cultural aspects are things that fascinate me. Do you have a problem with this?
Other reasons why a Japanese Xbox is ideal for me is for the inevitable Japanese exclusive games that will come out, the cool translucent casing mine sports and the stronger RGB signal.

Sounds like you've got some ignorance to share yourself, Master. If a person likes Japanese games, why wouldn't they buy a Japanese system? And with stuff like Crazy Taxi 3, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Shikigami no shiro, Jet Set radio future out (or coming soon), I think there's quite a few reasons to own a Japanese Xbox. I apologise. Two things that rub me the wrong way though.
A) Companies pay a lot of money to bring their consoles to different countries. Localizing costs money. Personal preference fine, but when a product started in English, why go Japanese? Whatever, personal preference I guess...
B) Japanese stuff isn't cooler just cause its Japanese. I'm all for learning the language to take in the things I could be missing out on otherwise, but getting everything translated into that language even if as you stated "the origional intent/vision" was in English, I just don't get it. Again, its lost on me but whatever floats your boat.
