Tea break bro, energy drink and a browse of TNL, it's a ritual.

I will breakdown my argument for you here:
Sports are designed to be competitive, all sports are designed to have winners, most sports have professional bodies that control and create rules to maintain both fairness and healthy competition.
PvE WoW has never really been designed around competition; PvE WoW has always been designed around keeping people occupied for long enough that they will continue playing subscription fees, if you're cynical; or providing a fun interesting challenge to complete with some friends, if you're stupidly optimistic.
The only things I can think of that legitimize high-end raiding would be the Realm First titles in Wrath, or the designers always watching first attempts on a raid boss. But watching high-end guilds attempt bosses probably has more to do with interest in bugs and tuning.
High-end raiding is a meta-game created around the design of the game by the community. Will you find PvE ranking lists on BattleNet? Will you find parse rankings on BattleNet? World Firsts have always been about min/maxing beyond the tuning of a boss. Would a guild of only 25 people, with one character each, in a completely balanced raid composition, all playing perfectly, ever get a world first?
The answer is no.
Should stacking classes or playing for unhealthy amounts of time be considered "playing well".
I'm thinking no.
RF is not a top end guild. We're not serious enough, we're not organised enough, we don't have the talent pool, we don't care enough. But should we be treated/viewed as "baddies" by you and the mouth breathers on our server because we aren't super serious/don't spend ridiculous amounts of time killing internet dragons? No.

I lost the argument by finally making a serious post :(
