Oh no Nip Nong McGee, this thread has years of life left.
Tell us how bad we are at Halo 2 while you're at it, we've always been super sensitive about shit that we don't care about.
lol, you know you're that guy in a group of friends that goes laser tagging and takes it way too seriously, when everyone else is using it as a way to hang out and connect with one another. Had I decided to word my post only slightly differently and left out sarcastic references to mounts reserved only for you WoW nobles, you wouldn't give a flying fuck about our guild masturbation. Dude, you're a killjoy.
Oh my god everybody just shut up, let him post his shit and ignore it.
Why did I click this thread?
Psst. Stick to what you know. (Pro Tip: It isn't fights you never did when they were hard.) As someone who single handedly wiped my first fight with Innate... You're way off. From Parasites to Conflag (how I wiped that raid) to Encapsulate to Darkness of a Thousand Souls to fucking up on the dragons... That was some pretty rough shit. Hell, that whole deal I'm sure you heard about where I killed Illidan on an ankh with the whole raid dead? That raid was dead because one dude got a happy since we were about to get the kill and fucked up his parasites causing a domino effect and everyone getting swarmed.
... and then we went back at 80 to get some people their achievements and over explained the hell out of everything, preparing for the worst, and just fucking stomped it. Even KJ was bullshit. KJ was bullshit with only three people who had ever done it before. Once those LK fights are bullshit (they will be) people WILL farm the hell out of them. Things dying twice as fast means WAY less time for something to go wrong.
One night I was on helping Thren with something (ages ago, you were still in 88) talking to Maddy while you guys were about to pull Mimiron HM. She was stupid nervous and I said not to be, you were in t-fucking-10 now. She said it wasn't a gear fight and I just laughed and said that killing the boss faster + more health for the incidental shit + better heals makes anything a gear fight. A one shot later and she whispered back that I was right. That's just two tiers of gear later and you're rolling shit with half a new raid that was a wipefest a little while before with vets.
It's true that these fights got HP and physical damage reduced as well but the HP was only one factor in why they could be easily downed and most of the "Kill the whole raid outright" events, aside from tank death, are not physical damage.
Stop playing this game. Y'all niggas is gay.
I have no doubt at 85 when people are doing 100k dps Arthas will be doable with people who don't know the fight. With damage like that you'll phase shift before the first shadow trap and again before the first defile and again before the first downphase, just because something that used to take 3 minutes will now take 20 seconds.
I wasn't trying to say that BC lacked things that mad content difficult, but it didn't have things that are unhealable regardless of level and gear. We wrecked KJ because we out dpsed his phases. You guys killed him in BC because you were AMAZING players, not because 3.0 made them a joke; because it didn't, it just made him less impossible.
Still, your post actually helped me in proving that until the next expansion comes out people don't just do certain fights if you don't know how, and Mimiron HM is very different from Yogg+0 and HM LK in that there is no mechanic on it that is designed to cause absolute wipes. You can't outheal insanity and you can't battle res someone who was blasted off Arthas' platform. Come 85, the fights will be jokes, like every other previous expansion boss fight, but again that's when the 1 in 100 change takes place, so Invincibles won't be any more common than a pheonix is, at least with the kids who kill Arthas in Cata.
Really though...
I don't know why I come into these threads either. I think I hate myself.Quote:

Yogg+0 was pretty easy when I did it like five months ago. On one hand that's because I was with a lot of good players, but it did take us a few tries because we had some people (namely healers) who had never fought Yogg before at all.
Opaque, you really do sound like you're just trying to justify your videogame success. Just accept that shit gets easy with gear that wasn't supposed to be as good as it is and new talent setups that weren't designed for current fights. Trust me, everything will be okay and people won't think you're any less of a man.
