So this is good shit. Warriors are more fun to play now, even if they have completely fucked the class over on damage. Arms is better than TG which is better than SMF, but it's all not by much and tops out at crappy. DKs seemed okay, I only checked mine for a minute but what I want to do suffers from the same issue as SMF, which is that there's no strength based one-handers. Mages are just fucking ridiculous and need to be stopped. The new shaman quake spell is hilarious and looks totally out of place, but is awesome at the same time.
All the classes are way more enjoyable to play for leveling, since class defining abilities are now given so much earlier. Shadowform for priests now only needs about level 30 instead of 40, penance is automatically given for disc, mages get ice lance spam and arcane blast crazy early... god this is all so good. Blizzard is so much fucking better at this than when they started. Which probably sounds like a "no shit" comment, but compared to other MMOs it's not so much.

I don't understand how that happened, no one else in the raid healed for more than 8k and the fight didn't last long enough for that person to get too many buffs from the phase. Also they only used Echoes of light, which hit for 90k. What am I missing?

Is ret broke? I managed 7k on marrogar while still installing this patch, having 0 addons, no new glyphs, nothing regemmed or reforged, and all ret spells thrown sloppily onto blizz ui bars
And I must agree with artec that haste has more allure now. But I think once you get Crusader Strike down to a 3 sec CD, you can start looking at crit more. I wouldn't take this to heart though because I was only glancing around on new ret strats while I was doing a bunch of other shit

On a side note, I thought ret was going to just have 'holy power now' but we still have mana, and our casting pool is pretty deep. Also I think making a macro for this 'Selfless Healer' Talent should be interesting to utilize in PvE, But I can definitely see it's benefit for pvp

Regardless of the fact that this is a bug, the outcry over it will result in a nerf beyond the point it needs to be nerfed. You heard it here first.
So far the tuning knob shit Blizzard was after seems to be working well, so I doubt that. They also hotfixed a bunch of bugs this morning along with the damage tweaks, so it might already be a non-issue.
It's still interesting that it happened, if I'm correct this is the first time something this dramatic has happened; meaning there's never been a bug that could cause a single spell to do more damage or more healing than an entire boss encounter in the highest tier of raiding required.
Would have been amazing if this worked on someones DPS, and you had Arthas dying in 2 minutes. The ammount of repossessions of weapons and mounts would have been awesome.

But Ofecks is right, T9 was really gay. Also: it made warlocks look like mages, not the other way around. Maybe you forgot how bad Alliance got shafted on those models.
Alliance got way fucked on all of T9, which is weird since blizzard obviously loves the more. Stormwind being the best city and worgens are proof of that.
On horde side though, even priests looked like warlocks, which made the transition into T10 all the more painful. Until I got 277 even the color scheme looked like leveling gear.
I don't get the 'Blizzard loves Alliance moreeeeee' shit. WOTLK probably had more Alliance only quests, but they seem to be putting a lot of time into both factions lately
It was a pretty expected transition, BC was essentially the Horde Expansion, while WOTLK was the Alliance one. Now we get one where they're at each other's throats again.
