3 is not "like" 10 imo

Guaranteed it's coming to phones before it comes to faggy glasses. I mean, its already on phones to an extent. I can go point my phone at the sky and get detailed star charts and shit. I move the phone around, the the shit on the screen syncs up with whatever I'm pointing at. I'm explaining it poorly, but it's pretty awesome.
Look, we're still, genetically at least, the same exact animal that was living in caves 75,000 years ago, and if you cut even the most brilliant man in the world off from society and put him in the wilderness without tools, you'd be lucky if he could build much more than a hut. The only reason we've progressed as far as we have is because of our ability to communicate to large numbers of people; to hand knowledge down from generation to generation, as well as to specialize and collaborate. There's not a person alive who you could put on an island and tell them to make a computer and he could. So yeah, we're stupid as we always have been, but as a species we're always moving forward without evolving.
When you think about that, the recent advances in communication brought on by the internet have some pretty profound implications.
I could build an awesome hut. Screw you.
What about this? Is this cool enough for you cheeks?
This has almost nothing to do with your initial post and everything to do with your nerd angst, which is what this thread actually seems to be about.
If we had talking toy robots, their actual functional use would be eclipsed by the sex robot market or the beer cooler robot or some stupid shit like that within years of their commercial availability. If we had flying cars there would still be some asshole driving under the speed limit with their blinker on. Technology does not fix people. Technology is only a tool. It's a tool that could potentially be used to expand humanities boundaries, but it still takes a person to do it.
