Well, Lions end the season with a 4 game winning streak and ends up 6 - 10. I just hope they don't turn out to be this years version of Cleveland Browns next season
So did the Saints play a lot of third string in this loss?
I see the backup QB played, since they couldn't win the division anyway, and since they clinched wild card, did they just take the route of keeping people healthy instead of winning a pointless game?
They pulled Drew Brees when they were down by 7 in the 3rd. Ivory was hurt so Bush and Yoshi's favorite Julius Jones got most of the work in the backfield. Since the ATL game was such a blow out, I am guessing they didn't want to risk anything even though they had a chance to win.
I figured as much.
Last year he hardly played in the last two games of the season since they already clinched home field in week 14. It doesn't make sense to risk injury for no reason.
