Jacobs? Nobody will want him.
That game yesterday reminded me of the Saints game last year. They pretty much dominated the other team for 4 quarters, gave up a lead, and lost. I must say, at least the Redskins are consistent in losing games they shouldn't. The game should have never gone to overtime. Fred Davis allowed what should have been the game-winning field goal to get blocked. Danny Smith will eat him alive today.
Shame about Jacobs. That guys was a beast before he fell off.
My sentiments differ from yours, Strider.
I don't know the extent of his knee injury/injuries, but from the outside looking in, he got paid his big contract and then fell off.
And now if he's on the field on passing downs he's liable to get his quarterback killed - a trait I loathe in runningbacks in general and with Eli (who I like) in particular.
The Giants trading/releasing him is best for both parties.
My thoughts and prayers. This is terrible news.
