Problem there is, Capcom thought THIS was a good way to showcase what makes Asura's Wrath So Damned Awesome and why you should buy it.

So chances are, the rest of the game is much much worse, or at best, just like the demo.

I think the crazy action that goes on throughout the game is pretty cool. Unfortunately, the game itself has always looked like crap.

The first trailer was epic. Everything after has looked worse and worse.

Although it really underscores how great a game is when it lets the player participation be the spotlight. There's a reason stuff like Skyrim and Arkham City do so well, and it has far less to do with how gritty or badass they trump stuff up to be and more with player involvement and choice. Whether a player realizes it or is just subconsciously hooked, they at least feel like something good is going on. Whereas in this...thing...I'm sure a player will just feel bored (unless they've pining less for a videogame and more for a new DBZ-like CG movie).

I'm holding out hope that this demo is only representative of what boss fights are like, and there is much more going on in the actual levels. Gamefly is my friend here.

This demo is retarded. And I loved every second I spent playing it. I'll definitely be renting this one. It's like Dragon's Lair, only instead of pressing buttons to see awesome cel animation, you press buttons to see the stupidest shit ever conceived with UE3.

yeah...the demo was just awful. I don't even know how to describe how much apathy I felt, I nearly fell asleep.

It's a shame as I was looking forward to this release. Maybe I'll just stick with DMC HD Collection and a few 3DS games this quarter.
